Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec

Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec born in 1971 and 1976 in Quimper (France). Studying at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Paris and the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Cergy Pontoise. Ronan began working alone just completing their training, and his brother, who has not yet completed their studies, it helps.
Since 1999, the two brothers run a design studio in Paris, of which 50% are partners. Its scope of work ranges from small consumer items to architectural projects. In addition to designing home and office furniture, vases, china, jewelry and various accessories for the home, do not stop working with the space and configuration.
In this context arises "Algues", one of his less conventional products in 2004. The collaboration with Vitra begins with the office furniture system "Joyner", developed together with Vitra between 2000 and 2002 and in constant evolution since then. Jasper Morrison and Hella Jongerius, Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec are one of the principal architects of the Vitra Home, a constantly growing collection.
